Keeping you informed on our tours and cruises, health protocols and COVID-19 response is important to us. Here you can find up-to-date information on all you need to know about travelling with us at this time.

Russia - Ukraine Conflict

The APT Travel Group is very concerned with the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Naturally, the company’s primary concern is the security, safety and wellbeing of its guests and employees. The group’s main Europe Cruising programs are unaffected and no tours or cruises are operating in or near the areas of concern. The APT and Travelmarvel Russia programs for 2022 have been paused until further notice and we will be contacting any guests affected in the coming week. Our thoughts are with those in the region.

Queensland – Northern NSW floods

Our thoughts are with those affected by the floods in northern Australia. While the APT Travel Group does not have any tours in the area right now, we will be monitoring the situation closely and we will contact guest where required. 

 

Helpful Information

International travel has resumed and we look forward to welcoming guests on scheduled departures of our international tours and cruises.

New Zealand touring remains suspended until the New Zealand border is open to quarantine-free travel.

As you know, airlines around the world have announced a significant reduction in their service levels and activity, you may have been contacted directly by an airline at this stage. Similarly other tour operators we partner with, including land and cruise partners of ours, are also making rolling announcements about their services. We are in constant contact with our partners and will work hard to deliver you the most relevant information as and when we can.

Border protection and changes to worldwide policy on travel restrictions, are of course a substantial consideration for future travel. We continue to monitor these restrictions and the changing situation to have the most up to date information.

A future holiday credit equal to the full amount paid on the booking, is being offered to all our suspended tours and cruises, this includes us absorbing any applicable third-party fees (some airline fees may apply).  This is valid for travel with any of our brands up to the end of 2023. This credit can be used for multiple bookings and can be transferred to another person, however it is not redeemable for cash.
